Designer quality fixed shutters reminiscent of well-made furniture of the past. This coastal retreat bed is made to last! Constructed from wood veneers over durable medium-density fiberboard (MDF) for the stability of large surface areas. Unlike solid wood, these durable wood products are non-absorbent assuring your furniture will not warp or crack. Hand rubbed 8 step finishing process. Double-sealed with water-based lacquer for a velvety texture protected from scratches and stains. Smooth quarter round edges and regal finials add custom detail. To prevent the bed from wobbling, the back panel is flush, recessed, fitted, and screwed. Three center support legs with a center footboard holster for added stability. Traditional 4.5" bun feet with floor protectors ground this sturdy bed. Mattress and box spring required (not included). Accommodates any thickness queen-size mattress. Can be used with an adjustable base and sleep number mattress.
