Payment Terms
- 50% deposit on merchandise to place an order, 20% is non-refundable.
- Balance due when delivery or customer carry is scheduled.
- Non-refundable payment in full for cut fabric or parts orders.
- Major credit card, debit card, personal check, or cash.
- Outsourced financing with minimum purchase and 20% non-refundable deposit.
Quotes
- Valid for 10 days and does not guarantee merchandise availability.
- Could be in written form or electronic form.
20% Cancellation/Change Fees
- To request cancellation/change, contact your salesperson.
- A 20% charge for what is being cancelled or changed. In-store credit expires after 1 year.
Returns
- Not accepted after you sign for and take possession.
Hold & Storage
- Hold to 30 days with 50% deposit, excluding clearance items.
- Special orders begin their 30 day hold upon arrival at our warehouse.
- We will hold beyond 30 days and up to 60 days if paid in full.
- We offer storage, with a fee, after 60 days, see our rates (non-refundable) every 30 days until you take possession.
- Beyond 61 days, in the absence of specific instructions, we reserve the right to cancel with a refund of 80%.
Display Item “Floor Model” Purchases
- Welcomed with a few exceptions, at the buyer’s discretion.
- Require the buyer’s inspection, especially those tagged clearance, "as-is", this one only, please inspect.
Special Orders Please Read Carefully
- Timeliness, condition, or availability is not guaranteed.
- Custom upholstery companies have been averaging 6-12 weeks or more.
- Casegood companies have been averaging 6-12 weeks or more.
- Bedding companies have been averaging 2-4 weeks. (Adjustable bases may be longer).
- Companies may have certain items in stock for quicker shipping times (See your salesperson for details).
- Notification of arrival will occur when items are received, opened, assembled and inspected.
- If damaged, options are reorder, repair, as-is allowance or reselect.
- If unavailable, options are 100% credit or refund.
Delivery Excluding Saturdays & Sundays ** Please, have pets restrained **
- Up to 50 miles from our store on a charge basis (excludes NJ).
- Includes assembly, set-up and placement, except hanging on walls.
- Disposal of old available at a charge and it is surrendered to Besche Furniture, Inc.
- No moving, assembling or disassembling of anything will be done except for what is being delivered or disposed.
- No altering, forcing or hoisting of anything will be done to accomplish delivery.
- Maryland state sales tax will be added if we deliver into Maryland.
- A 2-hour time slot is given one business day prior to delivery day.
- Buyer should be present to inspect, oversee placement, take possession of and sign.
- Buyer is responsible for access through doorways, stairwells and elevators into the space desired and adequate space for placement and personal preference issues, e.g., a decision about the look or feel of items upon delivery (if returned due to buyer’s responsibility 20% will be charged).
Customer Carry Excluding Saturdays & Sundays
- Customer needs adequate vehicle, quilts, restraint, and capable people to, inspect, wrap, load, pack, and sign.
- Must arrive at our store half hour before closing time.
- *Customer carry eliminates out of state sales tax.
Warranty
- Besche Furniture, Inc. services its manufacturers & vendors warranties, to correct verified defects in workmanship and or materials.
- Besche Furniture, Inc. has no written, stated or implied warranty of its own.
- Some clearance, and “as-is” purchases are excluded.
- Buyer’s copy of the sales contract and the manufacturers/vendors warranty are required.
- Misuse, abuse, rental and/or commercial use voids all warranties.
- Transportation for warranty service is the buyer’s responsibility if customer carried originally or is more than 50 miles away.
- Most furniture warranties are 1 year-limited, and exclude fabrics.
Repairs
- After 1-year of ownership, reference is offered to local professionals that must be paid directly for their services.
- Parts may be purchased from Besche Furniture, Inc. at a charge of cost, freight and handling.
- Parts availability and or timeliness of repair are not guaranteed.
